In 2024, the Media and Communication Department of the Social Research Center (SRC) actively fulfilled the tasks set out in the Center's Charter. The department's activities included media coverage of surveys, events and publications, promotion of content on social networks, management of the SRC website and social media accounts, preparation of both public and confidential analytical materials and reports, and organization of various events.
Key Achievements:
33 articles and analytical materials along with 20 news articles and press releases for the stm.az website;
14 certificates, analytical documents, and proposals;
Over 1,000 interviews, statements, expert opinions, TV program episodes, video commentaries and analytical videos;
Participating in and hosting TV programs, including Real Tədqiqat on Real TV, Arxa Plan on Füyuzat TV, and Siyasi Baxış on İki Sahil TV, totaling over 70 media broadcasts (20 of which were Real Tədqiqat episodes);
A new SRC project, Global Bridges - 1;
Organization of 27 events;
Over 40 publications highlighting SRC staff activities at COP29;
Over 90 visual materials.
Throughout 2024, department staff actively conducted interviews, attended conferences, and participated in other events. They also provided regular commentary to the media, including all TV channels. During the year, the total number of statements published in various print media exceeded 1,000 (A.A).
SRC collaborated with various organizations to support the professional development of youth. As part of these partnerships, interns from other organizations received training guidance in the Center from mentors.
Department employees (T. Ismailov), prepared and presented programs on various socio-economic and socio-political topics. These programs included "Real Tədqiqat" on Real TV, "Arxa plan" on Füyuzat TV, and "Siyasi Baxış" on İki Sahil TV. Visuals were provided by B. Jafar.
In 2024, the implementation of SRC's new project, Global Bridges, continued under the supervision of P. Bayramov. Numerous theses and analytical materials from the Center were published on prominent national websites and in the media. Media representatives were invited to all SRC events. Overall, the Center organized 27 events.
The activities of the Center's employees at COP29 received significant media coverage. More than 40 COP-related materials were published, interviews and broadcasts were organized. The final press release was published on media platforms in multiple languages.
