As part of the "Constitution and Sovereignty Year," the 2nd International Conference on Social Work and Social Research will be held on May 23-24, 2025, organized jointly by the Social Research Center (Azerbaijan), Azerbaijan University, Fırat University (Türkiye), and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (Türkiye).

The aim of this conference is to engage researchers in discussions on current issues in social work and social policy, constitutional rights, and the development and implementation of modern technologies and social practices aimed at improving the social and psychological well-being of various population groups.

The conference will provide a scientific platform for discussions on topics such as social work practice during crises, the development of social work education, the creation of international standards in this field, and social protection for vulnerable groups.

Social state and social welfare in the 21st century: legal-constitutional foundations, dynamics, trends, and perspectives

Contemporary social state and social rights: recent trends

Heydar Aliyev and the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan

Constitutional law and social state models: theoretical approaches, existing practices

Notable Dates:

Thesis submission deadline: April 10, 2025

Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2025

Conference program release: May 15, 2025

The official conference language is English; only submissions in English will be accepted.

Theses should not exceed three pages.

Authors will have 15 minutes for oral presentations during the conference.

All accepted theses will be published in the conference proceedings.
