BOARD MEMBER OF THE SOCİAL RESEARCH CENTER
Tahira Bakir Allahyarova has been appointed a a Board Member of the of the Center for Social Research by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated July 20, 2020. (President appointed Tahira Allahyarova - Order - ( Prezident Tahirə Allahyarovaya vəzifə verdi – Sərəncam - AzEdu.az AZƏRBAYCAN TƏHSİL PORTALI) T.Allahyarova also is the Head of the Domestic Policy Analysis Department of CSR.
T. Allahyarova graduated from Baku State University (BSU) in 1981. He started his scientific activity at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), worked as a Senior, Leading and Principal researcher.
After completion of post-graduate studies and doctoral dissertation in ANAS she received her PhD in "Ecological culture and social progress" at ANAS in 1993. In 2007 she defended her doctoral dissertation on theme "Social synergetics as a new methodological basis of social sciences" at Baku State University and received D.Sc.
In 2009-2019, he worked as a Head of Department at the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. T.Allahyarova was the editor-in-chief of the quarterly scientific-analytical magazine "Strategic Analysis" published between 2010-2019.
Since April 2019 till now, she as well as works as the head of the "Domestic Policy Analysis" department at the Center for Social Research.
T.Allahyarova has worked as a Senior Lecturer and Professor, taught "Sociology of Management" at the Department of Social Sciences at the Baku State University from 1999 till 2014. From 2014 till 2019 she has worked at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Republic and taught courses "Strategic Management" and "Public Administration" courses. He is currently co-chair of the Dissertation Defense Council at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces. He is an expert of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Science Development Fund, member of the Coordination Council for Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology of ANAS, member of the working group on the new curriculum on "Humanities and Social Specialties" under the Ministry of Education.
T.Allahyarova took part in international conferences, seminars and trainings held in different countries of the world. She is the author of more than 200 scientific articles published in the country and abroad, covering the new methodology of social sciences, the transformation of the political system in Azerbaijan, the phenomenon of political leadership, the study of socio-political processes in society, including 16 monographs: T.Allahyarova, Nadine Schouwey and Simon Zurich. T. Allahyarova is a co-founder of the international quarterly scientific and analytical journal "Social Research" and deputy chairman of the international editorial board.
Under her scientific guidance: 4 doctors of philosophy and 1 doctor of sciences were trained.
According to the order of President Ilham Aliyev, she was awarded the “Medal of Progress” in 2017 and the Jubilee Medal "100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)" in 2019 for his fruitful activity in the public and political life of Azerbaijan.
