Department of Domestic Policy Analysis

The Department of Domestic Policy Analysis conducts research on strategic issues related to Azerbaijan's internal politics. The department's primary objective is to improve governance processes and enhance the effectiveness of ongoing reforms. It analyzes the dynamics and trends in the relationship between the state and society, and plays an active role in shaping and implementing policies based on public opinion on various matters.

The department's primary areas of focus are as follows:

•    The strategy for reforms in internal policy, the current socio-political agenda of the country; state-citizen relations; the state’s social policy in the following areas: public health policy, science and technology, education and culture policies, demographic and environmental policy, national policy, youth policy, reforms in the fields of human resources and public administration, family and women’s policies, policies regarding religious, national, and spiritual values, ideological policy, analysis of the state's internal policies in the social sphere and ongoing reforms, preparation of analytical reports, briefs, analyses, positions, and proposals on various issues; developing scientific-analytical and forecasting proposals;

•    The preparation of scientific-analytical periodicals, such as "Social Research," "Azerbaijan Barometer," and others.
